Spotlight – Victoria Ann Tirado

Victoria Ann Tirado a junior who is now officially studying Early Childhood and Family Studies!

Tori thoroughly enjoys being a part of her community, especially through attending conferences and events like Fil Night. She is also part of Pi Nu Iota, which promotes outreach and community service with the youth. Through her involvement, Tori loves the connections she makes and hearing the stories of everyone she meets. She’s also a volunteer at elementary schools as an Afterschool Care Program Mentor and a Health Office Nurse Assistant. In addition, she’s currently a Health Scholar at Swedish – she love working with babies in NICU and elders because they have the best stories. Tori is an alumna Youth Ambassador for the Daffodil Festival and helps make breakfast at a Youth Shelter and enjoys sharing the love!

Tori loves the expansive perspective and sense of family within her community. She feels her community is an excellent support system as they provide a very welcoming environment.

Besides being an engaging member in her community, Tori used to be part of a traditional Filipino dance group called Sampaguita. Also, Tori is really good at memes!
