Legislative team

Christina is an MPH candidate in epidemiology (global health emphasis) and the first woman of color accepted to the graduate certificate program in Climate Change and Health. Prior to joining PISC as a Legislative Lead, Christina worked at the Indigenous Wellness Research Institute on studies researching culturally appropriate student services and human subjects protocols to support American Indian and Alaska Native communities. She previously served in AmeriCorps, providing financial planning, insurance enrollment, and health promotion services to recently arrived immigrants and chemically dependent populations in the metro Boston area. Christina received her AB in anthropology from Brown University and has experience analyzing water resource management policies among Pacific Small Island Developing States as part of research conducted in the Phoenix Islands Protected Area (Kiribati). She represents the epidemiology department in the Graduate & Professional Student Senate, is an ex officio member of the Student Advisory Board to OMA&D, and works as a research analyst at the Washington State Department of Commerce.
