ASUW: Pacific Islander Student Commission

That’s right! This spring quarter in tandem with the ASUW’s Joint Commissions Committee’s Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Celebration Series and the Samuel E. Kelly Ethnic Cultural Center’s events and programming, we are proud to present Talk Story with Kumu Hina. Renowned activist and Kumu hula Hinaleimoana Wong, otherwise known as Kumu Hina, will be joining us at the University of Washington Seattle for a meet and greet, screening of her award winning documentary “Kumu Hina”, and a chance to talk story with the Kumu herself. The event will be help April 29th, 2017 at the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture.
